Oscar is my British Shorthair cat breed. He is 5 years old and loves to play with shoelaces. Currently, he has no companion but very soon, that will change.

How the product tables are built
Every brand page carries a table, and every table is flagged with where it came from. Current line-up means the range was checked against the manufacturer or a major retailer in 2026-08-01, and anything that changed since our original review — a rename, a discontinued model, a rebrand — is noted at the top of the page. As reviewed means the table lists the products our own review named and has not been re-checked since.
Tables carry properties rather than prices: what a litter is made of, whether it clumps, which life stage a food is for, how a box removes waste. Those stay true for as long as a product is made. Prices move week to week, and a stale price is worse than no price.
Independence
This site carries no affiliate links. The previous version did, through accounts that closed years ago; those links were removed during the 2026 rebuild rather than renewed.

Everything here is background reading for cat owners. It is not a substitute for a vet who has examined your cat. Anything sudden or worsening — and in particular a cat straining to urinate, struggling to breathe, or refusing food for more than a day — is a same-day call to a vet, not something to research first.
