What to buy
Cat Litter by Brand
Every litter brand we have covered, so you can start from what the litter is made of — clay, wood, corn, walnut, paper or crystal — and narrow to a brand from there.
Litter is the one cat product bought on repeat, and the choice is mostly a trade-off between clumping strength, dust, tracking and what your cat will actually use. Material decides most of that, so pick a material first: brands within one behave more like each other than like anything outside it.
