Pet playpens

A playpen gives a cat a temporary enclosed area with room for platforms or separate resting and feeding spots. It is a different product from a handled carrier intended for transport. The four enclosures here use two-tier layouts; their height, door access and assembly differ.

How to choose pet playpens
  • Sketch the full assembled footprint, including any projecting feet, and leave room to open every access door.
  • Check panel spacing, latch operation and platform attachment. A tier count alone does not establish safe access for a kitten or an older cat.
  • Confirm the parts list and assembled height against the exact model. Do not use a stationary cage as a vehicle restraint or airline carrier.
