How we select and describe products
Meowkai organizes a smaller selection of cat products around practical buying decisions: food format, pack size, usable space, materials and everyday care. Our product pages combine listing facts with buying notes that explain differences and point out missing or conflicting information.
What goes into a product page
- We check the exact supplier listing and product identity before using its specifications.
- We distinguish complete foods from treats and toppers, and keep life-stage and care claims tied to the product label.
- We explain practical trade-offs such as outside versus inside dimensions, divided portions versus pack counts, and a travel enclosure versus a carrier.
- We link to the source listing and record the date the details were reviewed.
What our notes mean
The buying notes are an editorial interpretation of available product information. We have not physically tested every item. We do not invent customer reviews, star ratings, expert endorsements or a testing history. A manufacturer's marketing term is not proof that a product will produce a particular result for your cat.
Using the filters and comparisons
Filters reflect features described in the listing. A care-need filter is a starting point for comparison, not a medical recommendation. The side-by-side table uses current store prices and the listed product facts. Unknown measurements remain marked as unspecified.
When information changes
Supplier offers, stock and product labels can change. We pause ordering for listings that fail our sourcing checks while we review them. Check the package received for the current ingredients, directions and care label.
