  • Top exit can require climbing or jumping. Check the actual threshold and route for a kitten or cat with limited movement rather than relying on a senior label.
  • A drawer needs clearance in front; a flip-top lid needs clearance above. Plan cleaning access before placing a box under furniture.
  • High sides and covers may help contain litter activity but do not eliminate scooping and cleaning. Some cats prefer an unobstructed opening.
  • Liners are accessories, not boxes. Confirm the exact sold item, included scoop and any assembly requirements before ordering.
