THE MEOWKAI FIELD NOTES

Small details. Better decisions.

Start with the question behind the purchase. How much is actually in the pack? Will the box fit the space? Is that enclosure really a carrier? Our field notes turn those details into checks you can use before ordering.

Compare the item, not just the label

“Large,” “senior,” “calming,” and “whisker-friendly” do not tell you an opening measurement, a sleeping area, or how your cat will respond. Use the listed dimensions and directions, then ask about anything that remains unclear. We do not fill missing measurements with estimates.

Use the collection comparison

  1. Open a category and expand Compare before you choose.
  2. Select two or three items from the current results page. The table puts their listed size, format, materials, availability, and current store price together.
  3. Read the buying notes on each product page. A measurement in the table may describe the outside of an item rather than its usable interior.

Start with litter boxes, beds and comfort, or cat food.

What goes into these guides

These are shopping worksheets and editorial explanations. They are not reports of hands-on testing. Product examples use the supplier-reviewed information described on the product page; external care references are linked in the relevant guide. A room-space calculation or a lower unit price cannot establish that an item is suitable for a particular cat.
