Make the three mats work as a rotation

Think about where each of the three mats will live before ordering. One can remain in a familiar resting area while another is being cleaned, with the third reserved for a second room or a spare crate. That is a different reason to buy from needing a single broad sleeping surface. Placing the mats beside one another does not turn them into a fitted mattress, and the edges can move independently.

Put it inside the actual crate with its door closed, accounting for any curved corners or raised plastic lip. The rectangular polyester mat should lie within that space without having its bolster forced up the walls. Outside crate measurements are a poor substitute for this check because frames, hinges and trays occupy room.

The bolster is most relevant to a cat that likes a defined edge under its head or body. A cat that sprawls across an entire chair cushion may use a flat, wider mattress differently. Watch an existing sleeping spot and compare the posture rather than estimating from body weight. Plan the laundry routine around complete drying and the product's attached instructions. Polyester construction does not identify every permitted washer or dryer setting. Before rotating a cleaned mat back into use, check its seams, the distribution of the filling and whether the base rests flat.
