Dexypaws Cat Bowl, Black & gold fish

Distinguish decorative finish from bowl construction

The gold fish motif is part of the appearance of this ceramic bowl. It is not a separate metal feeding insert and does not establish a different food-contact material from the ceramic construction identified in the listing. If the finish or glaze needs a particular care method, obtain that direction for the exact decorated version before choosing a cleaning routine.

This version lists a 4.4-inch height, which is worth checking against the available feeding space. A raised bowl may fit on a mat yet be awkward beneath a low shelf or beside another raised dish. Ask for its base width and opening dimensions if the station is tight, because a seven-ounce capacity cannot supply either measurement.

Compare the shallow raised format with the tilted plain black Dexypaws bowl. Their advertised capacities match, but that does not make their rim positions or working surfaces identical. Use the way your cat approaches an existing dish as a practical reference. If the present problem is limited floor space, compare the actual base rather than choosing from a photograph of the bowl alone.

Before buying several matching dishes, decide how each will be used and cleaned. One for water and one for food may require different placement even when the designs match. Inspect the decorated surface and the underside during routine care, and avoid treating an attractive gold finish as evidence of dishwasher, microwave or high-heat suitability when that method has not been established for this item.
